About
Rina Sugawara is a clarinetist and music theorist who studies the intersections of music, literature, and psychoanalysis. She is especially interested in fantasy as a literary genre, musical form, and psychoanalytic concept. She is also drawn to things that simultaneously look/sound/feel cute and uncanny such as Miyazaki films, children’s literature, and puppets.
